USSSA National Tournaments:
There will be a D National in Connecticut and 3 E Men's Nationals ( Upstate NY, Mass, Possibly Downstate NY)
C National is being determined

USSSA Points Restructuring
A new point structure pattern has been released for 2012. There will no longer be double points for qualifiers. There will only be double points for NIT's and above stature. USSSA will also be introducing Super NITs for 2012.
2012 Bat Standards
The new bat standards where a bat cannot be broken in and exceed the 1.20bph will start. Bats that do not carry the new USSSA stamp can continue to be used until 2013. As of next year no bat without the new stamp will be allowed.
Penalties for using altered/illegal bats has gone up to 2 year suspension for not allowing a director to inspect your bat & 5 year suspension for being caught with an altered/illegal bat.
On another note with bats for 2012. USSSA NJ purchased a bat compression tester. We will be using it at leagues and tournaments for the entire season of 2012.
